#UNSTOPPABLE Yoga for Youth Training Program

This is a training for anyone who works with youth - school teachers, school counselors, aides, coaches, community center employees, police officers, etc. You will learn through an embodied experience, a set of tools to teach basic yoga poses, breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques to youth in whatever setting you encounter them in. The training will also give an introduction as to why and how these tools can help people who have experienced trauma.
The Unstoppable for Youth Training provides methods and tools that support youth with dealing with stress and teaches them how to calm themselves, empower themselves, and can be used at any time; anywhere. This training will cover how yoga, meditation and self inquiry are powerful tools for your own self care, but also through an embodied experience for yourself, how you can share them with others.

HEART & GRIT Power Yoga (formerly Moonshine Power Yoga) is located in the Short Hills Town Center at, 484 Evesham Road, Cherry Hill, NJ.
Yin Yoga is one of the fastest growing styles of yoga and helps tone connective tissue, ligaments and tendons which are critical to our physical well-being and range of motion. Postures are practiced on the floor and each is held for 3-5 or more minutes. As a result, the body is energized, encouraging a free flow of chi/prana/life force of the body that often gets blocked or stagnant.

Yoga Nidra, “the Yoga of Sleep” is gaining popularity. It is a conscious relaxation practice where you will experience a deep state of release while at the same time maintaining complete awareness. It assists in easing tensions and bringing healing to the body and mind. This training will begin with a 45 minute Yoga Nidra experience followed by an overview of the history, physiology and science of Yoga Nidra and will culminate in practice leading Yoga Nidra.
